please look for code name “katy”
very sly, you know
It’s best if you just sat and talked to her about it. Shouldn’t be that hard. But the thing is about this is that you should be careful with what you ask for. I have a friend that simply goes against everything I say and I the same. It first started with a major fight about a small incident with a girl and I really haven’t seen him the same way since.
Diversity is great. It’s what keeps us as individuals. But then this said diversity somehow breeds hatred to one another. I know a lot of people are going to go against me for this but this is what happend to me with individual personality.
Love it! That’s a brilliant idea, Kate! I’m glad that you care about your fans and you give us so much attention! xx
Friendship and music is the worst relationship you can have. Love / Hate / Desire / Get Rid, these feelings you have all colide all at the same time. One day in October 2010 I went to my local venue in York, I always go there on my own. T]hat evening there were three acts on, it was just under half full (about 40 people) on a boring Sunday night. I wasn’t into the “support acts” (one girl just singing about how lovely it was to be in thailand and india, and the other a bunch of ugly blokes doing folk rock with nothing to say, really boring). So I sat in the front room in my own thinking how nice to have a half fill venue on a Sunday night. Anyway, I thought, “I won’t go home, I’ll stay” The main act was a woman from a band I remembered from a long, long time ago called “The Slits”, an all girl group. But when I walked in, later on, everyone had gone, both acts had done one and taken thier “crowd” with them. So an empty room with a woman from this band called “The Slits” on stage. Although I cared, I don’t think she did. And that’s what made it great. Her set was amazing. Only seven people saw it. And that is what music is about.
I could listen to your voices forever! Love it!
Hell Yeah Kate!! Keep posting your podcast 🙂
I’ve a problem similar with Narcissa, I’ve got this mate class, she is always agreeing with everything that my teacher says and I say…Like just because we’re more kinda more into in one style of music that she maybe is not into it , so she is like, I feel like she is trying to impress all the time, not just me but the teacher, and I like her, I really do , ’cause she can have her own opinions about some things or situations, but its all weird when she gets closer to the teacher, and she is always afraid to disappoint us, this podcast helped me A LOT. Thank you a lot.<3 keep posting

Thank you so much for the advise. I replied to your message and I’m super grateful for you beautiful ladies and beautiful bunny for spending 15 minutes of your time on my problem! Wowza, and my letter is on the home page? I am so happy! Thank you! I’ll let you both know how everything pans out xx
I must say that I have problematic relationships. In this scenario, I may easily be Narcissa’s friend. Now, a lot has happened to me, much of it just swept under the carpet by others. And I think that whatever I do won’t be enough. A lot depends on the environment. I think I have done my part, now others should do theirs.
I think I tend to cling to people. It is the way I am.
I have been oscillating between trying to understand the world (studying psychology and theology) and trying to change myself (confession, psychotherapy). But I am a social being, and what I think that I have not been receiving is acceptance from others. That I have been giving and not receiving; that I give and they do not.
I see the solution to be that I get my day in court. Sometimes you need to do more than take medicine for a headache or to “sleep it off”. Sometimes you have to take a risky operation.
My experience tells me, that those parts of me that can change will only change after everyone involved will sit down to talk. Unfortunately the time when it was possible to do it outside a court is over.
So this is me. A thing, an annoyance that everyone sees and what lies underneath.
Dear Kate,
I’m sorry if my English’s bad, but I’m German and … yeah. 😀 I’m German.
I just want to say that I love your music – your voice and what you’re singing. I could listening to it every day of my life. That’s exactly how I feel. Well, thank you for your music. Your my inspiration. (:
